I’m Ayse McKenzie
I have over 18 years experience counselling adults and young people and am a registered member of BACP.
I worked as a Relate counsellor for 8 years before becoming independent and am a resident counsellor in a secondary school in Warwickshire. Until recently I was based at The Cottage Therapy Centre until it’s closure at the end of March 2023. Many clients have expressed the need for face to face counselling and I am able to provide this in a comfortable and confidential setting in Kenilworth.
My specialisms are working with couples, teenagers and adults dealing with a variety of issues ranging from grief, depression, anger, trauma and anxiety, as well as supporting parents who are struggling.

Qualified Couple Counsellor (Relate)

My Goals
I am passionate about everyone reaching their full potential and see my role as providing a safe environment in which to work alongside a person, couple or group of people to achieve this.
For me counselling is ultimately about the relationship between client and counsellor. I am an open, warm and appropriately challenging counsellor.
